EcomSource API v2: What's New

We're excited to announce EcomSource API v2, our biggest update yet. This release focuses on three areas our users have been requesting: speed, product variations, and expanded data coverage.

What's New in v2

3x Faster Response Times We've completely rebuilt our data pipeline. Average response times have dropped from ~600ms to under 200ms. For bulk lookups, we now support batch requests of up to 100 identifiers in a single call.

Product Variation Support You can now retrieve all variations of a product (size, color, style) in a single request. This is critical for sellers who need to track entire product families.

GET /api/v2/product/B08N5WRWNW/variations

Returns all child ASINs with their specific attributes (color, size, etc.) and individual UPC/EAN codes.

Energy Label Data For applicable products (appliances, electronics), we now return EU energy label information including efficiency class, annual energy consumption, and noise levels.

Expanded Coverage Our database has grown to 1.6B+ verified products, with particular expansion in: - Home & Kitchen - Health & Personal Care - Toys & Games - Sports & Outdoors
